STUDENT CIRCLE WESTERN GRADUATE REP
Terri M. Guilford is a fourth-year PsyD student in the Clinical Forensic Psychology program, at the California School of Forensic Studies: Alliant International University in Sacramento, CA. She also earned her Master's in Clinical Forensic Psychology from Alliant International University as well. She earned her Bachelor's in Criminology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She is currently beginning her journey on internship within the prison system. She held many positions on her campus such as, Clinical Forensic Representative for Student Government Association and a Student Assistant/Member of I-MERIT, which promotes diversity and multiculturalism on campus. Her interest consists of, prison/correctional system cultural and how it effects African American individuals and the family system, ethnic minority youth, sexual offenders, sex crime and working within the court system.
This is Terri's second year on the SC Executive Board. As the Western Graduate Regional Representative of ABPsi Student Circle Executive Board, she strives to (1) Expand the line of communication between Western region student members and The Association by serving as a student mediator and representative; (2) increase ABPsi student membership among Western region graduate students; (3) raise awareness and promote ABPsi along with promoting Black/African psychology; (4) aid in community building activities that will increase the success of the SC Executive Board.
