EASTERN UNDERGRADUATE REGIONAL REPRESENTATIVE'S MESSAGE
Ashley Hill is a graduating senior psychology major, Human Development minor at Howard University. She currently serves as the Eastern Undergraduate Regional Representative. After graduation, she plans to achieve her PH.D. in Counseling/Clinical Psychology. Currently, she is working on her Honor Thesis, which examines how colorism relates to eating disorders specifically Anorexia and Bulimia in African American women. Her research interests also include the relationship between anxiety and social media. She was inspired to take a leadership role in ABPsi after co-presenting at the 44th Annual Convention in LA. Additionally, an interesting fact about Ashley is that she writes and performs poetry. Her friends and family would describe her as funny, outgoing and down-to-earth. Words that she lives by are "We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?"
