JEGNASHIP CHAIR'S MESSAGE
Jessica Turral is a native of Baltimore, MD and earned her Bachelor of Arts from Johns Hopkins University in 2009. Currently, Jessica is a fifth year doctoral student at Loyola University Maryland in the Clinical Psychology program. She will be completing her internship at the Federal Medical Center at Carswell. Her clinical and research interests include trauma, addictions, incarceration, adolescents who have had interaction with the adult correctional facility and partnering with individuals who identify as coming from a community of color. In 2009, Jessica founded a non-profit called Hand in Hand, that partnered with adolescent males who were charged as adults under the age of 18 years old. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys attending worship service, volunteering in her local community, spending time with family and friends and encouraging everyone she meets to partner with the community in various ways. Jessica is excited to be returning to the ABPsi student circle this year as the Jegnaship Chair.
