Delisha M. Pittman

Delisha M. Pittman

Delishia M. Pittman, M.A. was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ.  She received her B.A. in Psychology with a double minor in Business and Social Work from Concordia University, Portland. She went on to complete her M.A. at Lewis & Clark College in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Addiction Treatment.  Delishia is currently a second year Counseling Psychology doctoral student at the University of Georgia. Delishia has held several leadership roles over the course of her educational journey. In addition to serving as Membership Co-Chair of the Student Circle, she also serves as the Vice President of the Graduate and Professional Scholars organization at the University of Georgia. Delishia is actively engaged in research that seeks to better understand the plight of persons of African descent and remedy the variables at play. In addition to her educational and professional pursuits, she also serves her community through service and mentorship.
