Student Circle Black Ribbon Scholarships

Description: The Council of Elders has recently contributed $1500.00 worth of funding to be used to help SC members attend the National Convention. The Council of Elders and SC BOD have worked together to create the criteria for the Black Ribbon Scholarships.

On behalf of the Association of Black Psychologists' (ABPsi) Council of Elders and the Student Circle (SC), we would like to formally invite you to attend ABPsi's 42nd Annual International Convention themed "Serudj ta: Transformative approaches toward repairing, restoring, and renewing the Afrikan Spirit through fulfilling the mission of The ABPsi"

In order for this conference to be a success, your attendance is requested. The Council of Elders desires that the hard work of student researchers be presented and recognized during the convention.

In this vein, the Council of Elders is sponsoring several student scholarships. Our elders want to recognize the dedication and hard work that student researchers contribute.

Scholarships:

o   Graduate Research Scholarship ($250.00) – awarded to 2 graduate student

o   Undergraduate Research Scholarship ($200.00) – awarded to 2 undergraduate student

o   Need Based Award ($150.00) – awarded to 2 student

o   Essay Awards ($100.00) – awarded to 3 students
