Student Circle - Advisor: Halford H. Fairchild Halford H. Fairchild is a past National President and life member of the Association of Black Psychologists. Among other service roles across his tenure in the association, Dr. Fairchild serves as a professional advisor (Jegna) to the Student Circle. He received his Ph.D. in social psychology from The University of Michigan in 1977, and is currently Professor of Psychology and Black Studies at Pitzer College and the Intercollegiate Department of Black Studies at The Claremont Colleges.
